ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Joe Patzelt. Welcome to my baseball website. Anyone who has ever put on the cleats knows there are so many life lessons and skills that can be learned by playing baseball. In case you didn't know, it is a game of failure. You will fail more times than you succeed, especially when it comes down to batting average. However, if you're willing to put in the work you can find enjoyment in this game regardless of your shape and size. But first, there are several things that you need to be willing to do:

1) Practice the fundamentals often.

2) Have a positive mindset.

3) Be in great shape.

4) Be willing to learn from your mistakes and make changes.

Through baseball, I have made countless friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. I am also fortunate to have played for so many great coaches, I want the same for the next generation of players.

I played college baseball for Bellarmine University where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree in Education.

THE goal

My goal is to emphasize the fundamentals so players can truly understand the game of baseball, compete at the highest level possible in a safe manner, and enjoy the game for a long time!
