It's a motto.

Baseball is a game of failure.  You gotta find little successes in each day, celebrate them, and move forward.

I credit this next concept to one of my best friends...my cousin Jake Patzelt. It all started on Snapchat one day several years ago, where my cousin Jake, "J-Pa," used to send fun/motivational videos to our friend group every week. One day he gave this whole speech on "little wins." He was going on and on about how a lot of little victories add up to a big one. Even though we have all heard that idea before, "little wins" is the perfect phrase and mindset not only for baseball, but for LIFE! If you focus on the little things and you "keep gobbling them up like Pac-Man" as J-Pa says, then you just might find yourself climbing the mountain faster than you think. Of course, you need to have your eyes set on the end goal, but in the meantime, try to gobble up all the small victories you possibly can, no matter how small you think they are. Celebrate them, feel good about them, and then keep moving forward!
